In spring 2024, Folio made a landmark decision to enhance its services by investing in Hardcover Case Binding production. This addition complements our long-established expertise in section sewing, Perfect Binding, and PUR Binding, offering even greater versatility to meet our clients’ needs.
A £500,000 Investment in Excellence
To bring this vision to life, we invested £500,000 in state-of-the-art Kolbus equipment, including:
- Foil blocker for intricate detailing.
- Case making and casing-in-line capabilities with round backing and head/tail banding.
- Back lining station integrated with our Muller binding line.
- Aster Multiplex sewing line to double sewing capacity.
- Hunkler end paperer and Schmedt machines for smaller-run flexibility.
- Precision board cutters for superior finishes.
